What Do Retreat Days Look Like?
DAY 1: THURSDAY - ARRIVE IN LEON, TRANSFER TO SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE
Welcome to Mexico, arrive at the Leon International airport where one of our guides will meet you for transport to our country home. The 45-60 min drive is by van with your peers in comfort where you can relax, prepare or sleep. Once you’re settled into your room or meet your roommate (double occupancy) you will be welcomed, grab your welcome packet and join us for a healthy drink, cocktail or jet lag boost of your choice. Your hosts will provide your itinerary for the week with goal setting and mingling. As the evening winds down, we will join in an intimate group dinner. End the night at your leisure or join our skilled host in a restore yoga session and guided meditation and cleansing ceremony to open the week and to close the evening.
DAY 2: FRIDAY - REJUVENATE WITH YOGA, & PUMP UP WITH FITNESS
Your days start at 7 a.m. with daily yoga classes lead by expert wellness coach, Liz Galloway. Coffee and tea ready to go daily, bright and early, followed by daily breakfast . We begin the week immersed in local culture with a cultural city walk and historical town visit. Take time for yourself to journal, set your weeks goals and boundaries to break. Get
Rest up before your afternoon circuit training class to pump up the heart rate and motivate change.Our structured fitness retreat will have you burning serious calories each day doing a variety of classes suited for your level. We focus on giving alternatives to work at your level. Don’t worry if you haven’t exercised for a while, we will modify your program to fit your ability. Cardiovascular training, strength training, balance, stability, stretching, and flexibility will all be a part of your program
A leisurely afternoon takes us to our evening, and healthy group dinner with goal setting discussions, Rest, socialize, or head to bed to prep for a full week.
DAY 3: SATURDAY - TREAT YOUR BODY RIGHT WORKOUTS & LOCAL COOKING
Join in daily morning yoga session or take time for yourself to start your day. Daily coffee, tea is open, and breakfast will power you up. Today we slow down to get in tune with our physical/mental connections. We review the local community and immersion into local culture with a cooking class and tasting.
Embrace local simplicities, nature and culture in San Miguel, renowned for its Spanish and Gothic architecture, creative cuisine, artistic talents, along with its sustainable living and give back in this enchanting city.
Take it slow this morning as we work on goals and focus on healthy workshop sessions. Enjoy a light healthy lunch before we depart prep for our daily fitness and HIIT training.
Enjoy your peers during social time, optional afternoon outing, and on to our healthy inspired group dinner. After dinner, grab your journal and focus on your goal setting topics. Not ready for bed yet? Join in our wind down Vinyasa flow before you retire to bed.
DAY 4: SUNDAY - SCENIC KAYAKING OPTION & CHARITY SERVICE
After morning yoga and breakfast, we jump on our nature outing to kayak local lakes. Our group transport is waiting to take us on our private tour. Just back in time for lunch, and our afternoon wellness workshop sessions.
Take the afternoon to explore, relax, or take an optional outing but make sure not to miss our daily fitness coaching with our core power class to focus on your strength.
We spend time in the local village teaching yoga to pre-schoolers and sharing with the local charity we've partnered with. Find out more about giving back and travel with impact during our session or charity and play. As we leave our partners we return to our private country reserve or enjoy cocktail hour and our healthy group dinner with goal setting discussions. End the evening with a short guided meditation ceremony to prep you for transformation. We hold our final space for group guided meditation and soul sessions, and the rest of the evening is up to your heart’s desire. Don’t forget to pack for tomorrow’s departure.
DAY 5: MONDAY - VINYASA, SOUL SESSIONS, & TAKE AWAYS
Your private yoga session and morning wake up awaits you once again, with a power packed breakfast. Your morning Vinyasa class with prep you for your day, wind down the week, and get you set for travel.
We review our goal setting checklist and boundary breaking progress and finish with a closing ceremony to mark our cultural travels and hard work on fitness and wellness connections.
Our group can awaits to return us to Leon airport, so sit back and relax, reflect and note the journey you've taken and the tools you have ready for your daily life. If you’ve arranged for an extended stay or other options, please let us know, your transfers will be on your own at that time.
